Firecracker Sauce

You’ll love how quick and easy this versatile sauce is to make! The perfect accompaniment to my Hawaiian Poke Bowls, it’s also delicious with grilled or oven-roasted vegetables, as a sauce with veggie burgers, or used as a sandwich spread. Adjust the heat to your personal preference by varying the amount of sriracha sauce.

Makes 1 1/2 cups

1/2 cup tahini

1/2 cup water

juice of 1 lemon

2-4 teaspoons sriracha sauce, to taste

pinch of sea salt

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl using a whisk, or in a blender. If necessary, thin with water or thicken with tahini.

  2. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
